Redesign of PremierOneTM Mobile for tablets.
Problems of the current implementation and user"s pain "points":
- Information presentation and flow not orchestrated around what the user wants to accomplish
- Lots of “admin” work to just satisfy the software (e.g, Set my status, Save, etc.)
- Content, presentation and interaction not optimized for mobile environments
- Similar functionalities scattered around in different places
- Outdated visual language
The redesign focuses on the "followings":
- Consistency and clarity of the UI
- Thoughtful ways to present/validate/update long forms
- Facilitate shared situational awareness with contextual and real-time information
- Reduce cognitive load; balance between recall and recognition
- Refreshed visual and branding strategy
During the design process, sketches and iterative, proof-of-concept prototypes are used to keep constant dialogs with stakeholders that test key user experiences. The prototypes are done in standard web technologies (HTML5/CSS/JavaScript).
